You are invited into their homely eatery with a model pancake at the foot of their door, which is a tradition with Japanese restaurants. Inside there are small handmade tables and stools if you wish to dine in your own privacy. But in their desire to recreate an authentic ambience, they invite you to dine at the counter in their open style kitchen. Here you can watch the Chef prepare your Pancake as you would like (Okonomi) on the grill (yaki).
Their a la carte menu offers Osaka, Hiroshima and Negi-yaki style pancakes. The difference between them lies in the way they are constructed and prepared. It is also possible to personalise your own pancake using the variety of fresh toppings on their menu. Each pancake is individually created using real Japanese ingredients, with tender love and care from the grill to your pancake dish.
Japanese Pancake World is in fact unique to Europe, and is the only restaurant to serve Hiroshima pancakes outside of Japan. A visit here is highly recommended for a cultural and culinary adventure within a relaxed and friendly environment. For the ultimate dining experience it's advised to reserve your seat at the kitchen prior to your arrival.
