Shelter Jordaan Hostel in Amsterdam
Shelter Jordaan is the only hostel in the famous Jordaan area, located in the western part of the city centre. With narrow streets and canals and beautiful 17th century houses, Jordaan remains one of Amsterdam's most attractive neighborhoods. Shelter is situated right in the middle of Jordaan, on a quiet residential street parallel to busy street of Rozengracht, which provides the tram connection and access to many snack bars.

Location
The hostel is easy to reach from Central Station (8 minutes by tram, or 15 minutes walk if you know the route, of course). It is also a short walk from The Anne Frank House and just a 10 minutes walk from Dam Square, Leidseplein and most of Amsterdam's main attractions.

Sleeping(single sex)
The hostel has 100 beds in clean and comfortable dorm-style rooms of 14 persons. There are separate dormitories for men and women.
Good to know...
No more curfew: hostel is open all night! Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in and around the hostel, smoking cigarettes is possible in the courtyard. Shelter is a Christian hostel. that generally means that everyone is welcome as a guest, while respecting the hostel policies and each other.
