I Amsterdam City Card
Gives you free access to many Amsterdam museums and tourist attractions, also the use of Amsterdam public transport. Added is a canal cruise and some other benefits.
How it works
It is a time based service. Buy your card, and use it for certain time period until its validity expires. Versions of 24 to 120 hours available.
Ordering and delivery
- You pre-order the card online.
- After coming to Amsterdam, you pick the card up in the I Amsterdam Pass office.
- The office is located at De Ruijterkade 28 B t/m D, 1012 AA Amsterdam.
- You show the card at the attractions. Specific timeslot must be selected.

Exceptions and limitations
Be aware that exceptions to this service exist. For example:
Van Gogh Museum is not on this pass.
The NS trains (Dutch Railways) which service the area of the outskirts of Amsterdam city not part of this pass. This means that transport from/to the airport must be bought separately.
Although there are some rural areas of The Netherlands featured on this city pass, the public transport in these areas is not part of the deal. Nor is the transportation there.
The card is strictly personal. One card cannot be used by more people, even if used at different times.

Additional information
The I amsterdam card is intended for the adult visitors and minors of 12 and older. Smaller children often receive free access to attractions as well as discount tickets on the public transport.
