Restaurant Nomads in Amsterdam

The untraditional diner is made up of 6 alcoves, small quarters where you can lay down and enjoy a meal with friends. Further inside is the 'domed room,' which like the alcoves, is lined with adjoining couches, convenient for couples. A shade of red light creates a most intimate atmosphere within.
At the centre is the domed dining area, where you can recline on kelim rugs and cushions provided. Entertainment is not afar with DJ's playing Arabian music with a western influences. Later during the night you may also enjoy a live belly dance performance.
It is possible to have a drink at the bar upon entrance, before taking your place at your chosen spot to relax. Nomads boasts an extensive wine, champagne and cocktail list to choose from.
Their menu consists of warm and cold mezzes, which are small Arabian dishes, not to be mistaken for main courses. Mezzes include 'Humus' and 'Muhammara Eljouze,' a tapenade eaten with an assortment of 'Khibbez' breads.
Warm mezzes include 'Stuffed Peppers' and 'Croquettes,' reflecting the fusion of east and western cooking. You may choose as many mezzes as you wish, but if it is all too much, you can opt for their set menu priced at 45 Euro.
Your waiter sets up a small table at the foot of your couch for your meal to rest on. Providing you with an utmost cultural experience, they also bring water for you to wash your hands.
During the night there is a possibility of having a palm reading or foot massage, offered to you at a small price. It is therefore advised that in order to maximise the pleasures at hand, you make a night of your visit.
