Tricky Theater Restaurant in Amsterdam
Amsterdam is a busy city and it is smart to make a restaurant reservation in advance. You can do so through our main Amsterdam restaurants page.
Established one and half years, Tricky Theater is a restaurant on a floating boat complimented by a continuous round of magic acts, comedy and music. The main dining hall is on the lower deck by their stage and open kitchen. Here you may comfortably dine at wooden tables and chairs in their 100 year old boat, as owner, host and entertainer Woedy Woet performs an array of tricks on and off stage.
Tricky Theater’s kitchen is run by Chef Maike Van Der Wilt, creating a 3-course menu at 29.50 euro every two months. On their menu you may expect to find antipasti present as well as the occasional Duck that is in demand amongst their regular customers. Besides the specials of the day most unique to the restaurant is their optional 3-course surprise menu for the same price. Here you are served a meal that challenges your expectations of what a starter, main course and dessert looks like. It is advised to dine early at the docked eatery, so that your dining experience is not disrupted too much by the show that kicks off after 10pm.
For an entertaining meal on the Amstel river, Tricky Theater Restaurant provides an interesting ambience for you to walk in any time assured with excellent food and continued entertainment.
